1st day:Campobasso

Arrival at Termoli station and meeting with the local guide to begin the journey of Molise’s discovery. Traveling on a comfortable coach we will arrive in Campobasso, the regional capital. Guided tour of the historical center, dominated by the magnificent Monforte Castle and participation in the evocative Good Friday procession, a parade composed of 700 singers who accompany the statues of Jesus and the Madonna, singing the impressive and touching “Teco vorrei”. Hotel accomodation, dinner and overnight stay.

2nd day: Pietrabbondante - Agnone

Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Upper Molise, to visit the Samnite Theater in Pietrabbondante, one of the most important testimonies of the story of this illustrious population, that has survived up to the present day. Lunch in a restaurant. The visit will continue to Agnone, the “city of bells”, full of important churches, crafts and typical gastronomy. Guided tour of the historical center and of the Oldest Pontifical Bell Foundry in the world. Stop in a cheese factory of Molise excellence to discover the products of the dairy art. Dinner with musical entertainment and overnight stay.

3rd day:Larino

Breakfast at the hotel and departure towards Larino, a town surrounded by green olive groves and vineyards, that still preserves important Roman remains of a millenial history. Guided tour of the historical center admiring the amphitheater (exterior), the Roman mosaics, the sumptuous palaces, the noble villas and the cathedral of San Pardo, one of the most important artworks of the Romanesque style.
There will be the possibility to attend the Easter Holy Mass, that will be held in the Cathedral. Lunch in a holiday farmhouse with a typical menu. In the afternoon visit to the winery, accompanied by a winemaker, to discover two excellences of Molise: wine and extra virgin olive oil. Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel.

4th day:Termoli

Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Termoli, an enchanting seaside village surrounded by ancient walls. Strolling through the alleys overlooking the sea, you will retrace its history and admire the Cathedral of Santa Maria della Purificazione and the Swabian Castle. Packed lunch with a basket of typical products of Molise. Transfer by coach to Termoli station and departure for the return to the headquarters.

– listen to the sound of bells in the most ancient Pontifical Bell Foundry in the world
– participate to the evocative Procession of Good Friday singing the touching “Teco vorrei”

– discover the inebriating smell of Tintilia wine during the wine tour.
